quotes @IanHylands Sorry mate, I was pointing to the initial selection, in the first article of this contest it told: "The judges will then spend several sleepless nights narrowing the nominated photos down to 32 after which we will open things up to the public." It was net meant as criticism, thought it would be a sweet thing to let the judges say something about their best 5 shots or whatever, or just about the winning shot. Just an idea. Cheers.

quotes I liked some other photos more, but i'm glad this shot won over the lift. I have seen so many better lift shots either is cycling and snowboarding. Congrats to John Wellburn! It's not about your name, how much pro you are or who is more likable, it's about the photo and the best of these two has won in my opinion. Oh by the way, do we get a comment from all the judges about why this photo has won?
